This course will explore the responsibilities, skills, policies, and techniques involved in managing museums facilities.

  • Federal standards and guidelines for the conservation of historic places

The workshop will combine formal instruction, group discussion, hands-on exercises and a graded take-home assignment.


This workshop can be taken as a part of the ANSM Museum Studies Program or on its own.

Workshop cost includes lunch on Thursday and breaks on both days.
