It aims to help them reorganize their collection storage rooms and regain access to their collections for enhanced community involvement.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><strong>Learning Outcomes<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Learn about the RE-ORG Method and Tools<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li>Case Studies Review<\/li>\n<li>How to use 4 Steps to collections storage reorganization:\n<ul>\n<li>Getting Started<\/li>\n<li>Condition Report<\/li>\n<li>Action Plan<\/li>\n<li>Implementation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><i>*RE-ORG Method<\/i>, was originally designed by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.iccrom.org\/programmes\/re-org\">ICCROM<\/a> (International Centre for the Study of the Preservation and Restoration of Cultural Property) with the support of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.unesco.org\/en\"><b>UNESCO<\/b><\/a> (United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization), and adapted for distance learning in collaboration with the Canadian Conservation Institute (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.canada.ca\/en\/conservation-institute\/services\/preventive-conservation\/collection-storage-reorganization.html\">CCI<\/a>)<br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><strong>Collections Storage Site Visit (Optional Add-On)*<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Also offered is an <strong>optional<\/strong> on site facilitator consultation (up to 3 hours) <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">to review and discuss collections storage situation and possible solutions using the Re-Org Method. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Onsite consultations can be scheduled in May and June. Consultations are advisory and do not include follow-up reports.
