Museums 101 is the introductory module for a series of eight workshops covering core museological functions: collections management & curatorship, interpretation, museums & community, facility management, management & governance and marketing.
Museums 101 introduces:
• origins & evolution of museums in society
• unique features of museums
• core functions of museums
• trends & challenges for museums
The class will be limited to 20 participants.
