Sandi's love of culture and history started at an early age when she ventured to museums with her family throughout the province. Born and raised in Nova Scotia, she decided to seek a bit of adventure and pursued her studies at Memorial University of Newfoundland. It was there that she obtained both her undergraduate and graduate degrees in Folklore. During this time, she worked at the Memorial University of Newfoundland Folklore and Language Archive (MUNFLA) as a Graduate Assistant and at the Cupids Legacy Centre as an Archivist (Intern).
In her spare time she enjoys travelling, one of her most memorable experiences was when she studied abroad in England. After graduating, Sandi moved back to Halifax and later began her journey with ANSM. You will see Sandi touring our partnering museums, assisting in digitization efforts and exciting projects.
