Webinar Series on Collections Management

The Association of Nova Scotia Museums recently offered a webinar series on collections management to members of the museum community. We were happy to receive such great interest in this new form of online learning.

Museum staff and volunteers partook in healthy discussion around different collections management scenarios and shared their own knowledge of best practices with others. Examples from NovaMuse provided insight on the importance of enriching records to strengthen an institution's online presence. Topics of discussion included: the basics of data entry, how to monitor workflow, inventory procedures, how to run reports, and how to identify, link, and share stories found in online collections. 

The five sessions were recorded so that the series can be enjoyed by all. The recordings are now available on the ANSM YouTube channel - Please share the news!
