An important aspect of the Association’s support for its membership is the provision of relevant and cost-effective training for museum workers in Nova Scotia. Each year we host a variety of sessions both in-person (such as at conferences, group training sessions for NovaMuse Co-op members) and virtual (such as Tuesdays on TRACK).
One of ANSM’s largest training offerings, the Museum Studies Program, is currently on hold. We hope to revisit this program in the future. Stay tuned for updates.
2026 NovaMuse Co-operative Group Training sessions are now open for registration. This year’s theme is healthy loan stewardship, but will also cover how to use new tools in CollectiveAccess, & how to begin the loan reconciliation process for old/outstanding loans.
These sessions are only available for NovaMuse Co-op members. The link to register is sent out with the monthly Co-op newsletter, or you can contact services@ansm.ns.ca for more information.
